Meet the Staff

Mindy-Office Manager

Mindy has been working with Dr Keskimaki for 15 years and is currently the Office Manager. She manages the office by scheduling patients, submitting insurance claims, explaining financial commitments, posting payments and handling patient correspondence.

She enjoys having the office in a small community which allows the team to create a relaxed family atmosphere and get to know their patients. This helps them to offer appropriate treatment plans for individual budgets and lifestyles.

Mindy was born and raised in Alpena. She and her husband Hank have three young adult children and spending time with family is Mindy’s favorite thing to do.

 

Michelle-Registered Dental Assistant

Michelle is a Registered Dental Assistant who takes pride in assisting the doctor and ensuring that the labs and operatories are in order and organized. She has been in dentistry for 27 years and has worked in endodontics, orthodontics, oral surgery and general dentistry.

She completed the required qualifications to obtain her Certified Dental Assistant Certificate and then continued her education at Washtenaw Community College, receiving her Registered Dental Assistant License.

Michelle has two daughters, no grandchildren yet, but she does have four fluffy grand kitties! She lives in the Hubbard Lake area and enjoys boating, family and friend get togethers and spending time working on home projects.

 

Cindy-Registered Dental Assistant

Cindy is a Registered Dental Assistant and assists the doctor in various procedures. She loves to educate patients on home care habits and has been doing this for 23 years. Helping patients reach their full potential makes her day. Her motto is, “Excellent health begins with quality oral care.”

She completed the required qualifications to obtain her Certified Dental Assistant Certificate and then continued her education at Washtenaw Community College, receiving her Registered Dental Assistant License. Over the years she has worked in orthodontics, endodontics and oral surgery.

Cindy has two adult children and two beautiful granddaughters. She is known as the “mother hen” of the office, offering a warm, soft hearted disposition that makes patients feel at ease.

 

Stephanie-Registered Dental Hygienist

Stephanie, a Registered Dental Hygienist provides outstanding dental hygiene as her primary duty, but is willing to jump in and help wherever needed. She has been in the field of dentistry for 28 years.

She obtained her degree from Ferris State University. She enjoys making a difference especially when visiting the local schools, educating children on excellent oral hygiene habits and expanding their comfort level about visiting the dentist.

Stephanie has been married for over 18 years to her husband Tim, and they have three children. She is a lifelong resident of Alpena and loves living on the shores of Lake Huron.

 

Michelle-Registered Dental Hygienist

Michelle is a Registered Dental Hygienist who provides quality preventive care and education to her patients. She has been in the field of dentistry for 20 years and has always worked in general dentistry. She worked as an assistant for two years before receiving her Registered Dental Hygiene license from Mott Community College.

She is married and has two adult children. She and her husband enjoy living on their farm in Hillman with their cats and dogs. They raise beef cattle and chickens.

Michelle enjoys meeting different people each day who say she has a warm and pleasant personality. Her patients enjoy visiting with her about her family’s farm.

 

Cheryl-Registered Dental Hygienist

Cheryl is a Registered Dental Hygienist and has been in the dental field for 25 years.

She received her education at Lansing Community College.

Cheryl is married and has one daughter.
