Phil Wienczewski DDS
Dr. Phil Wienczewski earned his BA of Arts and a Masters of Science Degree from Marquette University. He completed his dental education and received his DDS degree from the University of Michigan. While at the Uof M, he was the Recipient of the Prestigious Humanitarian Award from the dental school at the UofM.
He was born and raised in Alpena and returned to the area after completing his education.
Dr. Wienczewski holds the following current and past memberships.
• Current member of the American Dental Association and the Michigan Dental Association
• Past president of the North East District Dental Society
• Past member of the Midwest Implant Institute
He has taught Biology at Elgyn Community College and taught Histology and pre-med courses at Marquette University.
Dr. Wienczewski has taken a special interest in Occlusion and Implant Dentistry in his Continuing Education courses.
Dr. Wienczewski’s practice philosophy is, “To provide optimal health care, comfort, dental education and improve patients’ dental function and appearance to the best of my ability.”
Hobbies that interest Dr. Wienczewski include trout fishing, golfing, duck hunting, woodworking, gardening and life on the lake in his free time. He also is the father to four adult children who all reside in Michigan.
